Black Narcissus, 1947

A group of Western nuns open a hospital in an ancient temple in the remote Himalayan mountains. To the economic difficulties and the hostility of the natives, tensions between the nuns themselves soon add up. A British agent will try to mediate between them, but his presence will end up awakening, with fatal consequences, the repressed sexuality of some sisters.
