Bend of the river, 1952
Two men with a shady past, Glyn McLyntock and his friend Cole, lead a caravan of settlers from Missouri to the fertile lands of Oregon, where they plan to found a colony. As winter approaches, they go to Portland to get the groceries they had previously bought, but things have changed in the city and they run into big trouble getting them back.
