The egyptian, 1954
With Egypt under the rule of the pharaohs of the 18th dynasty, Sinuhé, a poor orphan, becomes a brilliant doctor who dedicates his life to helping the poor. He and his burly friend Horemheb not only witness the new pharaoh's seizure, but save him from the clutches of a lion. When the Pharaoh recovers, he thanks them for their gesture by introducing them to the Court.
